Rafael Nadal and Nick Kyrgios decided to play the ATP 250 in Melbourne and they may clash against each other in the semi-finals.

Rafael Nadal wasn’t even sure to play in Australia after casting some doubts following his performance at the Mubadala World Tennis Championship. The Spanish legend looked a bit rusty in Abu Dhabi and soon after he revealed that he got infected by the Coronavirus. Nevertheless, Rafa recovered and he is now training in Melbourne to get ready to contest the first major of the year.

At twenty-six years of age, Nick Kyrgios seems to be already tired to compete in pro tennis. The Australian player is ranked the only number 93 and if he does not have a good run in January he might very well crash out of the top 100. Kyrgios has earned the right to be in the main draw in Melbourne only thanks to a wild card.
