Emma Raducanu was absolutely excited to compete in the Mubadala World Tennis Championship in Abu Dhabi in December. However, things didn’t go our way after she got infected by the coronavirus like most of the other players.

Fortunately, Emma seems to have fully recovered from Covid-19 to be on her way to Australia with her new coach Torben Beltz. Emma appeared happy on an airplane with her coach and also Marcelo Melo.

The British sensation is expected to play a warm-up tournament in Melbourne next week, where she will be among the top seeds. This is the latest entry list.

Now ranked no.19 (career-high), Emma played her last match on the 9th of November when she lost to world no.101 Xin Yu Wang 6-1 6-7(0) 7-5 in the 2nd round in Linz (draw).

This season the Brit achieved a compiled 25-9 win-loss record. Emma clinched 1 title at the U.S. Open. Emma got to the final in Chicago.
