The new tennis season is about to start in Australia. Naomi Osaka and Emma Raducanu decided to play in the first available tournament in Melbourne the first week of January and they are going among the top players to watch.
Both Naomi and Emma are on the entry list of the WTA 250 that will commence in Melbourne on the 4th of January.
Unfortunately, 3 players had to withdraw from the event: Yulia Putintseva, Donna Vekic, and Camila Osorio. Varvara Gracheva, Amanda Anisimova, and Saisai Zheng will take their place in the main draw.

This year the Brit has achieved a compiled 25-9 match record. Raducanu conquered 1 title at the U.S. Open. Raducanu was the finalist in Chicago.
