CORONAVIRUS. Shapovalov tests positive after Nadal, Raducanu, Bencic

Denis Shapovalov explains how he uncovered that he was positive for Coronavirus

Denis Shapovalov, Rafael Nadal, Emma Raducanu and Belinda Bencic are among the most notable players alongside Ons Jabeur to be infected by the coronavirus during the Mubadala World Tennis Championship in Abu Dhabi.

The Canadian player on Culver that he was supposed to give to Covid-19 as soon as he arrived in Sydney. Denis released the following statement:

“Hi everyone. Just wanted to update you that upon my arrival in Sydney I tested positive for covid. I am following all protocols. Including isolation and letting the people who I’ve been in contact with know. Right now I am experiencing minor symptoms and look forward to getting back on the court. When it is safe to do so. Thank you in advance for your support and wish you all a safe and happy  holiday.”
