Novak Djokovic is one of the best tennis players in history and he has a positive head-to-head record with almost all the players he faced during his fantastic career. Nevertheless, there is one guy that has a strong record against Novak: his father Srdjan.
According to Novak’s father, he has a fantastic head-to-head record against Nole also because he stopped playing against him as soon as his son became too strong (ie. when Novak was 11).
Srdjan jokingly said: “I am one of the few who have a positive score with Novak. He got me for the first time at 11, I couldn’t even win a game anymore, so the score is now 100-1.”
Will Djokovic play the Australian Open?
There is a huge mystery about Novak Djokovic’s participation to the Australian Open. In order to compete in Melbourne, Novak needs to be fully vaccinated unless he obtains and rare medical exemption. As of now, unfortunately, it is plausible that Djokovic is not going to play. Nole is still on the entry list of the ATP Cup and the Australian Open. Until now, during this year Novak has achieved a composed 55-7 record. Djokovic has won 5 titles in 2021 at the Australian Open, in Belgrade, at the French Open, in Wimbledon and in Paris. Djokovic got to the final in Rome and at the U.S. Open.
