Novak Djokovic is not only one of the greatest tennis players in history, but also a fantastic human being. Novak and his delightful wife, Jelena, are extremely active in running the Novak Djokovic Foundation.
Novak and Jelena helped many organizations during the peak of the pandemic giving also anonymous donations. They are also extremely focused on helping fellow Serbians with all sorts of contributions.
For the 4th straight year, the Novak Djokovic Foundation is running a campaign to raise money to open a preschool in Nis, a city in Serbia. Last year, fans pledged €108,000 and the Foundation matched the donation.
The overall idea is to guarantee access to preschool in the next 10 years.
Novak and Jelena released the following statement:
“This and the previous year have further demonstrated how important it is for children to attend preschool, particularly in a situation when parents are forced to work from home, and are not able to adequately dedicate their time to children.
Nis is a lovely city with a unique culture whose citizens have been recognized both domestically and abroad. We have great memories from this city and we are happy that, this Season of Giving, we are raising funds for a new preschool there, thus enabling children and their families to dream big.”

WWWWLWWLWL At the moment ranked no.1, Novak played his last match on the 3rd of December when he overcame world no.30 Marin Cilic 6-4 6-2 in the Rubber 2 of the Davis Cup (draw).
Until now, during this year Djokovic owns an overall 55-7 match record. Djokovic has won 5 titles in 2021 at the Australian Open, in Belgrade, at the French Open, in Wimbledon and in Paris. Djokovic was the runner-up in Rome and at the U.S. Open.
