Andy Murray and Rafael Nadal will clash against each other in the semifinal of the Mubadala World Tennis Championship. Murray defeated his compatriot Dan Evans 6-3 6-2 in his first match.
Andy seems to be particularly happy to face the Spanish champion. They played each other 24 times on the official tour with Rafa leading 17-7.
Andy is very well aware that he is at the end of his extraordinary career and he believes it is a great opportunity for him to comment:
“I don’t know if I’m gonna get the opportunity to play matches like that again. Rafa’s someone I had great battles with. He’s obviously had his injury troubles as well. Hopefully, we can put on a good performance for a couple of old guys.”
