Stefanos Tsitsipas seems to be back to a positive mindset after he stated that his elbow injury has been recovering pretty well after he underwent surgery.
The Greek player started to see some in a rather good way after reaching the semi-finals at the Australian Open and he won his first ATP 1000 Monte Carlo. Stefanos was also extremely close to winning his first major when she was leading Novak Djokovic by 2 sets in the French Open final. However, things did not go his way after the Serbian sensation managed to find the solution.
The elbow injury
The second part of the season was not very good for Tsitsipas also because he was struggling with an elbow injury. Stefanos won only one of his last 5 matches before undergoing surgery.
The good news is that during a recent interview on Greek TV channel ANT1, Stefanos appeared in a great mood to give fantastic updates about his recovery.
“My elbow is fantastic. I am sure I will be 100% back. The goal is definitely to go even higher. I hope the preparation goes well and that the new year will be three times better than this season.”
Stefano is scheduled to play the ATP Cup will take place on the 3rd of January.

Ranked no.4, Stefanos played his last match on the 15th of November when he lost to world no.5 Andrey Rublev 6-4 6-4 in the round robin in the Nitto ATP Finals (draw).
At the moment, during this season Tsitsipas achieved an overall 55-19 match record. Stefanos clinched 2 titles in 2021 in Monte-Carlo and in Lyon. The Greek got to the final in Acapulco, in Barcelona and at the French Open.
