Ashleigh Barty, Aryna Sabalenka, Garbine Muguruza and Cori Gauff will kick off their 2022 in Adelaide where they are going to compete in the local WTA500. The tournament will have a main draw of 30 players and each will commence on the 3rd of January.

Aryna Sabalenka in 2021
Currently ranked no.2 (career-high), Aryna played her last match on the 15th of November when she was defeated by world no.6 Maria Sakkari 7-6(1) 6-7(6) 6-3 in the round robin in Guadalajara (draw).
During this season Aryna has a composed 45-18 match record. The Belarussian clinched 2 titles in 2021 in Abu Dhabi and in Madrid. The Belarussian got to the final in Stuttgart.

Currently the world no.3, Muguruza played her last match on the 17th of November when she defeated world no.7 Anett Kontaveit 6-3 7-5 in the final in Guadalajara to win her 10th career title.
Until now, during this year Muguruza has a 42-17 record. The Spaniard conquered 3 titles in 2021 in Dubai, in Chicago and in Guadalajara. Muguruza was the finalist in Melbourne and in Doha.
Cori Gauff in 2021
Now the world no.22, Gauff played her last match on the 11th of October when she surrendered to world no.8 Paula Badosa 6-2 6-2 in the 3rd round in Indian Wells (draw).
Currently, during this season Cori has a 36-16 record. The American conquered 1 title in Parma.
