Eugenie Bouchard had yet another tough year after struggling with a shoulder injury. Genie had a great run in Guadalajara in March where she reached the final. However, the Canadian player had to stop her season when deciding to undergo shoulder surgery.
It is not clear when Bouchard will be back to competitions. In the meantime, she posted an interesting video of her getting back in shape using aquatic therapy.

Currently ranked no.250, Eugenie played her last match on the 16th of March when she was defeated by world no.141 Lin Zhu 7-5 7-6(3) in the 1st round in Monterrey (draw).
This season the Canadian owns a compiled 5-4 record. Eugenie Bouchard’s best accomplishment of this year was getting to the final in Guadalajara.
