Emma Raducanu found instant stardom after winning the US Open, coming straight from the qualifications. However, the British sensation already hit the headlines a couple of months before when she reached the second week in Wimbledon after taking advantage of a main draw wild card. Emma is the 4th most Googled athlete in 2021 soon after golf legend Tiger Woods.
Rafael Nadal did not have a fantastic 2021 compared to his incredible standards. He won only 2 titles in Barcelona and Rome before falling in the French Open semifinals at the hands of Novak Djokovic. Nevertheless, Rafa has been the 9th most googled athlete in 2021.
