This was great news for the WTA organization that got an important sponsor on board.
Singapore will host this important competition for the next 5 years and it is doing a great job to advertise it to all over the world. This visibility helped the organization to get the sponsorship of the BNP Paribas.
The event will last 10 days to start the 17 October with a prize money of $6.5 Million.
Andrew Georgiou, CEO of World Sport Group, commented “One of the things that we are really looking forward to is announcing some local sponsors for the WTA Championships.
I think we are going to deliver a pretty good mix of both local and international brands who want to associate themselves with the WTA Championships and that’s going to be exciting over the next couple of months.”
