There have been many doubts about the participation of Novak Djokovic in the upcoming Australian Open. It is well-known that in order to compete in the first major of the year, all the players need to be fully vaccinated.
The Serbian legend is notoriously against any sort of vaccine and it was plausible that he would choose not to play the Australian Open so as not to take the jab. Nevertheless, Djokovic already has 9 slams Down Under and is chasing his 21st and not playing in Melbourne seems to be a lost opportunity for him.
Eventually, the list of the ATP Cup participants was released and Novak Djokovic will once again lead team Serbia in the competition. For this reason, Novak is expected to be fully vaccinated.
