Injured Del Potro withdraws from Indian Wells

We know it was coming and unfortunately… it came.

Juan Martin Del Potro had to withdraw from Indian Wells as he is still struggling with his left wrist.

This is a terrible new for Juan Martin that won’t be able to defend the 600 points he has gained last year reaching the final in Indian Wells.

“It’s still hurting a lot,” said the Argentine. “I’m not feeling 100 per cent. I’m not in good condition to compete.”

Delpo was seeded no. 6 and he was meant to play against Feliciano Lopez in the opener. He will be replaced by James Ward.

Good luck to Delpo!
