Tough luck for Martina Hingis that was back to play doubles in Indian Wells.
Martina teamed-up with Sabine Lisicki against Casey Dellacqua and Ashleigh Barty. Unfortunately the Aussies were too strong to beat Martina and Sabine 6-4 6-7 (0) 10-6.
Regarding the other results Errania and Vinci were also upset by Kuznetsova and Samantha Stosur, who won 6-3 3-6 10-6.
Sabine Lisicki will now have the opportunity to focus on singles. The German will play against Aleksandra Wozniak in the first round. Head to head is 2-1 for Sabine.
