Azarenka back to competitions in Indian Wells, but with doubts…

Vika Azarenka is finally back to competitions

The former world no.1 had to retire from Doha and Dubai because she had to recover from an injury to her ankle (see article). The Vika had a cast to her ankle for 3 weeks and now she has to test her fitness

“Well, I’m here,” she commented. “When you hear for the first time from the doctor you’ve got to wear a boot for three weeks and the tournament is in four and a half weeks you’re like, ‘Okay, well, we’ll see how it goes.’

For me, it’s a process of coming back. I tried to do the best job as possible and I think we’re slowly achieving that.”

Vika will face world no.66  Lauren Davis in the first round in Indian Wells.
