Roger Federer and Stanislas Wawrinka will further their partnership in Indian Wells to get ready for the Davis Cup where they have a great chance to win the trophy.
Roger and Stan may clash in the quarters (singles) here in California, but this didn’t prevent them to give it a try in the doubles draw. It is just unclear what is going to happen if they move on in both draws (it could be too taxing playing both competitions esepcially if you have Rafa in the next round…).
The Swiss Team will play the first round against No. 6 seeds Rohan Bopanna and Aisam-Ul-Haq Qureshi.
Federer and Wawrinka are not the only top players to play doubles as Novak Djokovic will partner with Felip Krajinovic and Del Potro will play with Cilic.
Sometimes ago McEnroe said that doubles competitions didn’t make any sense without top players involved…well… that’s it!
