Djokovic walks to the Dubai 3rd round, 1 step closer to Federer

Too good, too easy for Novak Djokovic.

The world no.2 wants to win his 5th title in Dubai and he looks set for it. Nole had to play a dangerous Bautista Agut, but a fast start in the first set (5-0) made everything easy for the Serb.

Djokovic was perfect for the entire duration of the match with the exception of the penultimate game when he was serving for the match when he was leading 6-1 5-2. Strange enough Djokovic surrendered his first service game at 15, but then he managed to break back Roberto in the following game and win the match 6-1 6-3 in just 57 minutes. Match Stats

Next vs. Youzhny

Djokovic will play Mikhail Youzhny in the next match “Mikhail has been around for a long time, and he has one of the nicest and most efficient one handed backhands on the tour. It seems a little bit unorthodox the way he holds his racquet, then he releases with two hands and in the end with one hand. But he’s a very talented player.” Head to head is 6-3 for Nole.
