Federer gives tennis lessons to Becker in Dubai

A great start of the tournament for Roger Federer that seems committed more than ever to the net.

The Swiss Maestro is clearly focused to get to the net as soon as possible and these early rounds are very important to fine tune this kind of approach.

Roger broke Benjamin 3 times without dropping a single service game (only 1 break conceded) and he scored 66 points vs. Becker’s 46. Match Stats.

Roger: The preparation is paying off

The Maestro was rather please by his match “I’m extremely happy with today’s match. A lot of travelling back and forth, Australia, Europe, America, back to Dubai, back for Indian Wells and Miami, but you’ve got to take advantage of that. I have been here for some time. I had a good preparation. I’m happy it paid off thus far.”

Roger will play his next match against the winner between Stepanek and Russel.
