The organisation of the Abierto Mexicano Telcel has decided to play the tournament on hard courts in preparation of Indian Wells and Miami… and that paid off.
The line-up is packed of top players and interesting prospect.
Top seeds are: Ferrer, Murray, Isner, Dimitrov, Anderson, Simon, Gulbis, Pospisil.
Last year’s winner was Rafael Nadal that has beaten Ferrer in the final.
There are 3 interesting players that may win this title: Dimitrov, Gulbis and Pospisil
Dimitrov is looking forward to get his breakthrough year to get at least in the top 10. Gulbis has just won the tournament in Marseille playing great tennis and he feels that his game is just a big below the one of the big 4. Pospisil is looking forward to confirm he is a top20 player.
