Emma Raducanu is still trying to find her way after being catapulted in the limelight for the US Open title. On many occasions, the British sensation stressed that she is not used to living the life of a professional player. Indeed, Emma never won a single match at WTA level before conquering the slam in New York.

Raducanu needs to fine-tune her fitness and find the right coach who will be an essential mentor to further her career.

About the off-season

After losing in the quarterfinals in Cluj-Napoca, Emma revealed whether she is ready to have her first pre-season as a professional player.

“I’m going to do a full off-season for sure. After Linz, I’ll probably have a week off just to mentally and physically refresh. It’s going to be my first pre-season, and from what I’ve heard it’s a very difficult four weeks physically

, so I just want to prepare for that and the next year.”

Emma will play a couple of exhibitions during the off-season. On the 28th of November, she will play an exhibition match at London’s Royal Albert Hall. Later in December, she will play the Mubadala World Tennis Championship

Currently the world no.23, the Brit played her last match on the 29th of October when she lost to world no.55 Marta Kostyuk 6-2 6-1 in the quarter in Cluj (draw).

At the moment, during this season the Brit owns a 25-8 record. Emma clinched 1 title at the U.S. Open. Emma was the runner-up in Chicago.
