Venus Williams wants to get back to the very top of the rankings.
The former world no.1 is now ranked 44, but she still has a very good tennis in her racket.
At the end of last year she has shown some signs of recovery. At the beginning of the year she has played a great tournament in Auckland to capitulate just in the final against a great Ivanovic in a very tense match.
Now in Dubai she has reached the final 4 in style. After conceding just 3 game to Ana Ivanovic, she has managed to defeat Flavia winning 6-3 7-5.
In the next round Venus will face either Caroline Wozniacki or Sorana Cirstea.
