Richard Gasquet and Jo-Wilfred Tsonga (the defending champion) are the favourite to win the title in Marseille as the other seeds are great players but none of them are in the top 20.
The other seeded players are Gulbis, Seppi, Dodig, Roger-Vasselin, Benneteau and Mahut.
It will be interesting to monitor the new Australian hope Thanasi Kokkinakis that has been awarded with a wildcard and he may clash against Richard Gasquet in the second round.
