Cameron Norrie had a fantastic fortnight in Indian Wells, where he won the title on Sunday after defeating Nikoloz Basilashvili in 3 sets.

This is the second ATP title for the British number 1, who has been improving his rankings dramatically. Cameron started his run in Indian Wells ranked number 26, which was already his career-high. After winning the prestigious tournament in the desert, Norrie will be ranked number 16 on Monday.

The Brit will be no.10 in the so-called year-to-date rankings to be a serious contender for qualifying for the ATP Finals.

Currently the world no.26 (career-high), Norrie played his last match on the 17th of October when he overcame world no.36 Nikoloz Basilashvili 3-6 6-4 6-1 in the final in Indian Wells to win his 2nd career title.

At the moment, during this season Norrie has managed to achieve an overall 51-20 match record. Norrie clinched 2 titles in 2021 in Los Cabos and in Indian Wells. The Brit was the runner-up in Estoril, in Lyon, in London and in San Diego.

Currently the world no.36, Nikoloz played his last contest on the 17th

of October when he was overcome by world no.26 Cameron Norrie 3-6 6-4 6-1 in the final in Indian Wells (draw).

At the moment, during this season Basilashvili has a composed 34-25 win-loss record. The Georgean conquered 2 titles in 2021 in Doha and in Munich. Nikoloz reached the final in Indian Wells.
