Ryan Harrison has managed to get to the second round defeating world no. 223 Bjorn Phau in straight sets, but the big disappointment for the local crowd was Sam Querry crashing out the tournament in the opener.
The seed no.6 lost to world no. 96 Bogomolov 2-4 6-4 7-6 (7) after losing a MP.
Not a good moment for American tennis that has also no representation in the Davis Cup and Fed Cup!
