Cori Gauff has already broken in the top 20 at just 17 years of age. Even if Coco has already managed to go deep in a couple of slams, she is still trying to conquer an important tournament. Coco already has 2 WTA titles under her belt (Linz and Parma), but she is widely expected to go for more.
The American sensation will try her luck in Indian Wells after she crashed out too early in the recent US Open, where she lost in the second round to Sloane Stephens.
Coco Gauff has started her training in Indian Wells. Here is a video of the teenager hitting the ball quite cleanly.
Strong practice session from Coco Gauff today. Hitting the ball cleanly and with good depth. Look for her to make a deep run here this year. @TennisNewsTPN #BNPPO21 pic.twitter.com/vaEQ9BSG41
