Bad news from the Canadian camp as world no.11 Milos Raonic is not ready to play against Japan.

Milos is unable to play because he hasn’t recovered yet from the ankle injury

From Milos

Raonic commented “Unfortunately I am pulling out of Davis Cup this week. I came to Tokyo believing my ankle would recover but it is not at a level where I feel I can compete or help my team. This decision was very difficult to make but I believe in the players on our team and that they can get us the win. With a team scenario the most important part this week is to come out with a team win and I believe this is the best way to do it.”

Unfortunately Canada is also struggling with his no.2 as Vasek Pospisil is also struggling with an injury to probably play only the doubles.
