Sharapova happy to be back to Paris fit to compete

Maria Sharapova lands in Paris to promote her Sugarpova candy line and, off course, try to win the Open GDF SUEZ.

Sharapova is happy to fell fit for the season after a long hiatus in the second par of 2013 (shoulder injury).

“I think it’s a success in terms of that I’m back and that I’m healthy. That’s quite important otherwise I wouldn’t give myself a chance to play. So on that note, I have to look at the positives and see where I have come from in four or five months. I haven’t played a lot of tennis in those six months.”

Maria will play her first match against Daniela Hantuchova in  Paris.

Head to head is 8-1 for Maria.
