The WTA Road to Singapore is officially launched

Chris Evert wants to do something important for the final showdown in Singapore.

The idea is to expand the happening in a 10 days event with lots of exhibitions and activities for fans; there will be 7 days of competitions (1 more than last year); the doubles will feature 8 teams; there will be an exhibition with both the rising stars and the legends.

Stacey Allister, the chairman and CEO of the WTA, commented “We are excited to announce new elements of the WTA Championships that will engage the fans of women’s tennis with the WTA stars and turn our year-end event into a premier sports entertainment property.
