Emma Raducanu is gaining more and more confidence after winning the US Open title and she will try to get her second slam in Melbourne. However, given the travel restrictions, it is possible that players may need to quarantine for an extended time before the Australian Open. This means that there are possibilities that Emma Raducanu and the other players may need to quarantine during Christmas.
During a recent interview, Emma said that it would not be an issue for her to spend Christmas in quarantine.
“Whatever needs to be done to be able to play the Australian Open, I’ll do. I just want to be at the Australian Open, and I want to compete there. So, whatever it takes to do, I’ll go.”
Emma is now enjoying a little break in the UK before possibly heading to Indian Wells where she is expected to play the prestigious WTA 1000.
