Vika Azarenka has won a controversial match last year in Melbourne against Sloane Stephens as many accused Vika to take a medical time-out in the second set to stop a spectacular comeback from the American.Both said that that was something from the past, but we have seen a couple of exchanges at the net that were not as friendly.
When she was 2-4 down in the first set Sloane Stephens chose to go for the body when both players were at the net hitting Vika hard. Later in the same game Vika tried to return the favour missing the American by inches (well at least she won that point).
Eventually the match ended after 1 hour and 31 minutes 6-3 6-2 for the Belarus.
