Emma Raducanu hit the headlines all over the world after winning the US Open titles. The young British talent attracted many compliments in the UK from all sorts of personalities after her incredible run in New York, where she won 10 consecutive matches without dropping a set.

Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp was overwhelmed by how Emma and her opponent Leylah Fernandez behaved during the final and the following ceremony. Jurgen went as far as to say that Emma Raducanu is the talent of the century.
Emma was asked to comment about Jurgen’a praises. She said:
” It’s very, very nice to hear, and I’m very grateful. I think that women’s tennis at the moment is extremely strong, and the game has all of the players who can win pretty much every event and I’m really grateful to Mr Jurgen Klopp for his comment.”
Emma is currently taking a break spending some time in her house in Bromley. She is expected to be back to the US either to play in Chicago or most probably be to compete in Indian Wells, where she needs a wild card to access the main draw.

Now ranked no.23 (career-high), Raducanu played her last match on the 11th of September when she beat world no.28 Leylah Annie Fernandez 6-4 6-3 in the final in U.S. Open to win her 1st career title.
At the moment, during this season Emma owns an overall 23-6 match record. Emma conquered 1 title at the U.S. Open. The Brit was the runner-up in the Chicago.
