Stefanos Tsitsipas is recovering mentally and physically from a tough US Open. The Greek sensation hoped to have a great run in New York, but his expectations were broken in the third round when Carlos Alcaraz Garfia defeated him in 5 sets.

To add insult to injury, Andy Murray accused Stefanos Tsitsipas of cheating during their first-round match when Tsitsipas got a long break before the 5th set. Stefanos was already widely blasted by Sascha Zverev during their Cincinnati semi-final when the Greek player got another prolonged toilet break.

After losing in the US Open, Stefanos was consumed by the controversy and he decided to take an interesting break at the Azores in the middle of the Atlantic Ocean.

Stefanos is expected to head back to the US to play the Laver Cup in Boston. In the meantime, he posted a lovely message on Instagram referring to his time with his lovely girlfriend, Theodora Petalas.

Stefano wrote: “The moment you realize how important time is, your entire perspective will change.”
