Emma Raducanu has achieved the impossible after winning the US Open started her campaign straight from the qualifications. The new British sensation defeated Leylah Annie Fernandez 6-4 6-3 in an exciting final to be the first British woman to win the US Open since Virginia Wade triumphed in 1977.

 

Emma has started to attend all sort of press conferences and interviews after winning the title. She attended the final press conference only after 2 hours she won the final. She admitted that she had no time even to check her phone.

However, it seems that Emma found some time to send a message to her compatriots saying: “we are taking her HOMEEE!!!”

Needless to say, that she received almost 300,00 likes in 1 hour on Instagram after she sent this message.
