TOILET BREAK. Djokovic supports Tsitsipas after beating Zverev in US Open epic

Novak Djokovic had fantastic words in support of Stefanos Tsitsipas who has been widely bullied for his long toilet breaks

Novak Djokovic On Stefanos Tsitsipas

Novak Djokovic is making history after being just one step away from winning a year Grand Slam following his successful semi-final against Alexander Zverev.

During the on court interview, Novak Djokovic wanted to have a word in defense of Stefanos Tsitsipas. The Greek sensation was widely slammed for using long toilet breaks to regroup during important matches.

Things got quite ugly after Sascha Zverev publicly accused Tsitsipas of cheating during their Cincinnati semi-final. Andy Murray also went ballistic during their first round at the US Open when Stefanos to a long break before the 5th set.

Djokovic commented:

I’ve got to stand for Stefanos Tsitsipas, I don’t think he’s doing anything wrong. I support him. Because the rule is not clear.

You can argue it’s all relative, everyone sees it differently, we’re completely off topic but I’ve got to say because this was a hot topic the last couple of weeks, I think he didn’t deserve that many attacks he was getting through the media and everyone.

Support to Stefanos.”
