No surprises in the top seeds at the Australian Open.
Once again the organisation decided to use the official ATP and WTA rankings to decide the seedings.
So world no.1 Rafael Nadal will be the top seed followed by Djokovic, Ferrer, Murray, Del Potro and Federer. The last seed is Ivan Dodig (no.32) that was accepted after Almagro had to withdraw (shoulders injury).
In the ladies’ draw, Serena will lead followed by Azarenka, Sharapova, Na Li and Radwanska.
The Australian Open will begin this coming Monday.
