Safarova upsets Wozniacki in Sydney.

Caroline Wozniacki is enjoying a wonderful moment in her life as she has just been engaged with her long-time boyfriend.  Unfortunately her personal success doesn’t also reflect in her professional life.

The former world no.1 couldn’t play in Brisbane for a shoulder injury and she has crashed out in the second round in Sydney to world no.27 Lucie Safarova.

Fair enough Caroline didn’t play that bad to score only 6 points less than Lucie (82 vs 76), but she wasn’t good in the important moments. That’s about tennis… isn’t it?

Caroline: I should be ready for Melbourne

The Dane was still upbeat to comment “I felt like it was pretty good today. It was small things that I didn’t win. I don’t feel anything in my shoulder anymore. It’s great. I’ve felt good for the last few days.

“I played two matches here then I get a few days over there (Melbourne) and get to play a few sets as well with some of the girls and with different types players. I should be ready for Melbourne.”
