Stefanos Tsitsipas is about to start his US Open campaign where all the eyes are on Novak Djokovic. If the Serbian sensation wins the US Open, he will be the man that has managed to win most slams (21) and he will complete and historic year Grand Slam.

When asked to comment about Novak Djokovic’s achievements, explained what he believes is one of his biggest strengths and what he would like to “steal” from him.

“He’s an example of someone who commits himself a lot to the game and tries to get the best possible out of it. I really wish for me to maybe one day be at that level of consistency, and be able to dominate Grand Slams at such level.
It’s something that comes with time, and I think he has learned throughout the years how to preserve his best strengths, and kind of expose them at the right moment, at the right time.”

Ranked no.3 (career-high), Stefanos played his last match on the 21st of August when he lost to world no.4 Alexander Zverev 6-4 3-6 7-6(4) in the semifinal in Cincinnati (draw).
Presently, during this year the Greek has managed to achieve a 48-14 win-loss record. The Greek clinched 2 titles in 2021 in Monte-Carlo and in Lyon. Stefanos reached the final in Acapulco, in Barcelona and at the French Open.
