In the semifinal against seed no.3 Kisten Flipkens, the Serbian Beauty had to battle a bit in the second set after serving a bagel (6-0) in the first. Eventually Ana won 6-0 7-6 (3) in 68 minutes.

Venus had a much easier life in the semifinal as Jamie Hampton had to withdraw before the match (right hip injury).
