Injured Almagro retires from Sydney in doubt for Melbourne.

World no.13 Nicolas Almagro won’t be able to take part to his first tournament of the season due to an injury to his shoulder.

Nicolas was scheduled to play in Sydney this coming week, but he is no fit.

The tournament director Craig Watson commented “Unfortunately, Nicolas Almagro has been forced to pull out of Sydney with a shoulder injury. We wish him a speedy recovery and all the best for a successful Australian Open.”
