Stefanos Tsitsipas has been hitting the headlines, especially in Greece, after sharing that he is not willing to be vaccinated unless it becomes compulsory.
Stefanos has recently commented:
“The covid-19 vaccine has not been tested enough because it is new and has some side effects. I know some people who’ve had them. I’m not against it, I just see no reason for someone in my age group to be vaccinated.”
Stefanos Tsitsipas’ father
During a recent interview, Stefanos Tsitsipas’ father Apostolos was supportive of his son to comment:
“He did not have to get the vaccine, like most of his fellow athletes. Athletes have a strong enough immune system to deal with any challenge that may arise.
As for the need for vaccines, I believe we have a large number of great scientists and great doctors and I am convinced that they can and must inform citizens about what they need to do to protect their health.”
