And here we are!!! Another legend trains a top player.

Murray has hired Lendl, Djokovic choose Becker, Sharapova tried Connors (that wasn’t nice though)  and now it’s time for Federer to pick Edberg.

Roger is eager to add something to his tennis and he was rather happy after training with Stefan for a week in Dubai.

The choice is rather interesting as Edberg was well known for possessing a great game at the net… so it seems that that is the direction the Maestro wants to undertake.

The Maestro posted on Facebook “I am happy to announce that beginning in Melbourne, Stefan Edberg will join Severin Lüthi on my coaching team. Severin, who has been part of my team for the last 7 years, will do most of the weeks and Stefan has agreed to work with us for at least 10 weeks starting at the Australian Open in Melbourne. Stefan was my childhood hero, and I am really looking forward to spending time and learning from him.”

Time for an even more spectacular Roger Federer?
