Novak Djokovic did not have the run he wasn’t hoping for at the recent Olympic Games in Tokyo. However, the Serbian legend keeps on breaking record after record.
Novak Djokovic has already managed to beat Roger Federer’s record (310 weeks) of being the male tennis player who has been the most at the top of the ranking.
With this week, Djokovic managed to stay as the world number 1 for 332 weeks equaling the great Martina Navratilova (WTA).

Now the world no.1, Novak played his last match on the 31st of July when he was overcome by world no.11 Pablo Carreno-Busta 6-4 6-7(6) 6-3 in the Bro. in Tokyo (draw).
At present, during this year Djokovic owns an overall 38-5 record. Novak conquered 4 titles in 2021 at the Australian Open, in Belgrade, at the French Open and in Wimbledon. The Serbian was the finalist in Rome.
