2013 has been an eventful year for Sabine.
The German didn’t win any title, but she hit the headlines by reaching the Wimbledon final in great style beating players such as Francesca Schiavone, Sam Stosur, Serena Williams (wow!) and Agnieszka Radwanska. Sabine was widely appreciated for her tennis and her smile that was always mixed with a sort of incredulity about her run at the Championships.
Soon after that, Lisicki split from her boyfriend, the Olympic swimmer Benjamin Starke, and she has struggled to find again her best tennis.
After much gossip, it is now practically official that Sabine is dating German comedian Oliver Pocher as they were together at the Berlin Fundraising Gala. Apparently the relationship has been going on for some time, but this was the first time they went together to an official event.
