Tipsaveric wins his first ATP title in Kuala Lumpur

Serbia is on the roll!!! Janko Tipsaveric
managed to win his first ATP tournament after 9 years on the tour.

“The win means a lot to me and I’m very happy to
have won in a place that I’m really comfortable with… the tournament was well
organised and I’m sure they can make it a 500 tournament soon,” said Tipsarevic.

“I played well today because in the previous four
finals, I either played too aggressive or too defensive. Today I managed to mix
it up well to overcome Baghdatis.”.

“Janko played very well today and he was aggressive
on the court. I congratulate him for winning today and I hope he can make the
top eight ranking to qualify for the World Tour Finals next month,” said Baghdatis.

“I actually forgot to enter this tournament and
luckily, the organisers gave me a wild card and I thank them for that.”
