Novak Djokovic, Alexander Zverev, and Daniil Medvedev managed to reach the quarterfinals at the Tokyo Olympic Games while Stefanos Tsitsipas crashed out.
Novak Djokovic had one of his perfect performances against Alejandro Davidovich Fokina to win 6-3 6-1. Sascha Zverev had to tame an always dangerous Nikoloz Basilashvili before winning 6-4 7-65. Daniil Medvedev had a tough match against Fabio Fognini, and he won in 3 sets after struggling for long because of the scorching conditions. Eventually, the Russian won 6-2 3-6 6-2.
Stefanos Tsitsipas looks to be in full control of his match against Ugo Humbert after he won the opening set 6-2. Eventually, things got south for the Greek player after he lost the 2nd set at the breaker, and he got injured to his leg on the way. The final result was 2-6 7-6(4) 6-2 for the Frenchman.
