Tsitsipas Sakkari Djokovic Stojanovic

Stefanos Tsitsipas and Maria Sakkari announced many moons ago that they would have played mixed doubles at the Olympics. The Greek champions will have a new big hurdle after Novak Djokovic agreed to partner with Nina Stojanovic.

The Mixed Doubles Draw

Stefanos Tsitsipas and Maria Sakkari are only seeded number 2. The top seeds are Nicolas Mahut and Kristina Mladenovic (France). Interesting enough, Novak Djokovic and Nina Stojanovic are unseeded and they will face doubles specialist Marcelo Melo and Luisa Stefani (Brazil) in the first round.

Tsitsipas and Sakkari will have a tough test ahead: they will be opposed to Felix Auger-Aliassime and Gabriela Dabrowski in the 1st round.
