John McEnroe likes to expose himself with his predictions and this time he goes for Andy Murray.
According to the American Legend, Andy can win the first slam of the season… OK there are some “ifs” but still he thinks that “if he’s healthy, he is going to be one of the guys who can go the distance. It’s going to be unpredictable when you haven’t hasn’t played. But you could make the argument that it could help him.
“I think mentally, he was a little whipped at the US Open, he needed to regroup, it had been an incredible but crazy 12 months for him. Now he’s had a chance to hopefully get things right with his back. And if that’s not right, it’s going to be tough,” he added.
Andy is now recovering from an operation to his lower back that has been denting his career a bit.
Now the Scot is ranked world no.4 just 10 points behind David Ferrer.
