Carlos Alcaraz Garfia played a lot of tennis last week after winning his maiden title in Umag. The new Spanish is sensation looked in great form despite the fact that he was featuring a rather big strap on his right arm. That raised some injury concerns, but eventually it did not seem that his tennis was much affected by that.

Soon after winning Umag, Carlos announced that he would travel to Kithzbuel to try to win his back-to-back ATP250.

When asked about the condition of his right arm, Carlos commented that he is not worried because it’s a minor thing.

The 18-year-old revealed: “Nothing special. I’m ready to play next week.”

Now the world no.73, Alcaraz Garfia played his last match on the 25th of July when he overcame world no.59 Richard Gasquet 6-2 6-2 in the final in Umag to win his 1st challenger.

At present, during this year Carlos has managed to achieve a composed 29-12 record. The Spaniard conquered 2 titles in 2021 in the Oeiras 3 Challenger and in Umag.
