Brandon Nakashima is one of the most interesting upcoming American players. Here is the bio reporting his origins, parents, coach, and the main milestone of his life.

Bio, Parents, Asian origins

Brandon was born in San Diego, California, on the 3rd August 2001 to Wesley Nakashima (dad) and Christina Nakashima (mom) and they are both pharmacists. He has a younger brother called Bryce. Both parents are born in the US and he has a Japanese surname.  Brandon was initiated to tennis by his Vietnamese maternal grandfather when he was just 3.

Even if he has a two-handed backhand, his favorite player is Roger Federer.

He played his first main draw in February 2020 in Delray Beach where he received a wild card. He reached the quarterfinals, defeating Jiří Veselý and Cameron Norrie before losing to Yoshihito Nishioka.

Coach and girlfriend

Brandon is currently coached by Dusan Vemic. At the moment there are no reports about Brandon dating any girlfriend. There will be time for that.

Nakashima in Los Cabos, ranking, and results in 2021

Now ranked no.134, the American has achieved a compiled 24-15 record in 2021. Nakashima is now having a run in Los Cabos where he bested Jeff Wolf 6-3 6-75 6-2, Sam Querrey 6-3 6-4 and Jordan Thompson 6-3 4-6 7-64.

Brandon Nakashima will face the world no.39 John Isner in the semifinal on Friday at 9:00 pm on GRANDSTAND CALIENTE. In the past, they have never competed against each other up to now in top events.

Brandon clinched 1 title in 2021 in the Quimper 2 Challenger.
